Owner Ford Stevens developed a passion for fitness in middle school, when he discovered that exercise had a big effect on how he felt physically and mentally. After college, Ford moved to New Orleans and spent eight years teaching and coaching, and he realized that his work would always be centered around helping others reach their full potential. Personal training was a natural way to combine that with his love of fitness.

Ford opened Body By Ford Personal Training in 2015, and BXF now has a team of three trainers in a state-of-the-art, brand new facility in Mid-City.

BXF offers highly personalized 1:1 personal training, boxing training, and is now launching group and small group training. They specialize in weight loss, muscle building, and body transformation, and take pride in being professional and reliable with all of their clients.

The BXF team strives to provide a welcoming gym atmosphere and seeks to build authentic relationships with all of their clients. From celebrities to professional athletes to people who have truly never once lifted a weight, they work to create an environment that nurtures confidence, strength, and a lasting love for fitness.
