Meet Taylor Morgan

A lifelong New Orleanian, Taylor Morgan has made a career out of her hobby of discovering hidden gems and supporting local businesses. Taylor started The Scout Guide New Orleans in 2012 as one of the first 10 cities in what is now a national brand covering more than 60 locations. Over her nearly 10-year tenure, she has worked with more than 200 businesses, established an influential blog and social media following, and earned a consistent 80% renewal rate among her client businesses.

After graduating from The University of the South, Taylor worked in The White House in Correspondence and Policy and Projects for First Lady Laura Bush. At the conclusion of the Bush Administration, Taylor was drawn back home to New Orleans, working first for the New Orleans Saints and later for Film Production Capital, a tax-credit finance firm. The skills she built and national connections she made during those years have given Taylor a unique value proposition for her clients and helped TSG New Orleans become one of the most successful locations of The Scout Guide brand.

Taylor is a natural relationship builder, bringing her clients together as a strong network of mutual support within the small business community in New Orleans. Clients often tell her they get so much more from their TSG Membership than simply a feature in a book; they get a devoted advocate who promotes them on the TSG New Orleans blog and social media, connects them to other businesses and new clients through her local and national networks, and is fully invested in their success.

Taylor is a member of the Junior League of New Orleans, the Louisiana Chapter of the International Women’s Forum, and she sits on the board of the St. Charles Avenue Association. Taylor is a graduate of the Academy of the Sacred Heart where she now serves on the Institutional Advancement Committee, and she is president of the New Orleans chapter of the Sewanee Alumni Association. She is also a member of the Krewe of Iris. In her free time, Taylor enjoys walking in Audubon Park; playing tennis and spending time on the water in Pass Christian, Mississippi.
