THE HISTORY

The building that houses Ralph’s on the Park was purchased by Ralph Brennan, owner of Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group, in 2003. It has been a fixture in the City Park neighborhood since the 1860s. The building is deeply intertwined in New Orleans’ culinary history, having been owned by esteemed restaurateurs over the years. In 1893, Fernand Alciatore, the third son of Antoine Alciatore, founder of Antoine’s Restaurant, purchased the building. He transformed the space into one of New Orleans’ finest restaurants at the time where prominent New Orleanians dined. Later, in 1901, Alciatore sold the business to famous restaurateur Justin Tujague of the Tujague’s Restaurant family. With Ralph’s on the Park, Ralph Brennan continued the tradition of New Orleans dining institutions housed in this building. Critics across the board hail this restaurant for its exquisite cuisine, extensive wine selection, and impeccable service.

To mark this occasion, Ralph’s on the Park has partnered with Aucoin Heart to craft a bespoke piece of jewelry. The stunning ring features diamonds and emeralds and it serves as a symbol of longevity, love, and peace.

The “Green for Good” draw began April 3rd and will run until May 10th, 2024. Patrons dining at Ralph’s on the Park for lunch on Wednesdays through Fridays will receive an entry card for the draw. Participants must submit the entry cards to Aucoin Heart on Metairie Road by May 5th for a chance to win the custom-made ring. Ralph’s on the Park remains committed to giving back to the community. Throughout “Green for Good”, Ralph’s on the Park will donate a portion of the proceeds from each lunch meal to Children’s Hospital New Orleans in support of Walker’s Imaginarium. Walker’s Imaginarium is a 12,000 square foot child enrichment space that provides healing, play, and joy for patients.
