“The March Continues” with the University of Minnesota’s Office for Equity and Diversity and the School of Music’s 43rd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Concert on Sunday, January 14th at 3:00pm. This celebration features artistic presentations of song, dance, narration, spoken word, and video inspired by Dr. King’s dream for a beloved community.

The MLK Breakfast celebrates a 33-year legacy of leadership in the Twin Cities and is a landmark event known for uniting our community and benefitting UNCF Twin Cities local scholars. 38th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Celebration

Minnesotans of all ages are invited to attend the State of Minnesota’s 38th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Celebration, hosted by Governor Walz and Lieutenant Governor Flanagan. This in-person event sponsored by USBank is free and open to the public at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. Doors open at 9:30am and the program starts at 10:30am.

Enjoy live entertainment, a presentation from Minneapolis Parks Youthline participants, and a ceremony recognizing the 2024 Living the Dream Award recipient. This powerful and uplifting annual event is emceed by Chad Jackson, Director, Brand Partnership Development for the @twins and Board Chair of @boysandgirlsclubstc. Light refreshments will be available at the conclusion of the event, which is free and open to all.
