Ah, one of our favorite times in Hunt Country. The cold weather ushers everyone inside to a coziness that is best complimented by the company of family and friends. A reminder: everything you need to have a beautiful gathering can be found at your local Hunt Country businesses. Support local while appreciating the ones you are sharing Thanksgiving with! 

Without further adieu, here is how we will be making the most of the big day by utilizing our beloved Hunt Country businesses!

First up, we plan to secure a delicious Kelly Bronze turkey from The Whole Ox. The Whole Ox team have created a comprehensive, easy to use Thanksgiving Guide to aid you in your search for the perfect bird and the perfect sides to go with it. You can order online, over the phone, or right over the counter in person. It’s all right here. 

Next up, we will be heading to The Town Duck for delicious wines, cheeses, amazingly plush throws, hand-dipped beeswax candles, beautiful terracotta serving pieces and more! Crème de la Crème is also on our trek to gather the perfect items for the turkey feast: French and Italian home decor and linens, stunning tableware, ceramic centerpieces and more adorn this amazing shop in Middleburg.

Do NOT forget about the perfect centerpiece. Nature Composed is our go-to for stunning floral arrangements with carefully curated blooms sure to impress. Jenn and her team always goes above and beyond to create the perfect floral masterpiece for any occasion. Be sure to place your flower orders early!

Feeling like not cooking and having a fun night out with loved ones? Blue Rock is hosting a Friendsgiving on November 22nd that includes a five course tasting menu, featuring their take on Thanksgiving classics! You can also take the holiday feast home with you with their to-go option.

Incredible charcuterie and grazing board expert The Cornichon is offering a gorgeous grazing board full of fresh fruit, veggies, curated cheeses, meats and more. Be sure to peruse all of their offerings on their website as they make perfectly delicious host/hostess gifts! 

You can bet we will also be paying a visit to the wonderful Locke Store, located in the historic town of Millwood, Virginia. The Locke Store is filled to the brim with fresh and gourmet finds, specialty food items, craft beer and an extensive selection of wine.
