Holiday Decor Ideas

The holidays are one of the best times to really show off your decorating prowess and design tastes. Some like to follow family traditions and decorate the way their parents or grandparents did, and some like to adhere to personal aesthetics and match their home decor. If you are looking to switch up your holiday decor, or even add to what you have, we have requested some holiday decor ideas from some of our Volume 9 members.

Beth Sink from Claude and Coy Interiors shared some of her favorite holiday decor ideas.

We are obsessed with ALL things tablescaping for the holidays! Set your table and leave it set. Not only does this look inviting and festive but we think you should actually USE IT! With friends and family popping in, it’s so inviting and you are ready at the drop of a Santa hat 🙂

Furbish is one of my quick go-tos for all things holiday, from funky to classic table cloths to garland and fun ornaments for your tree. Here are a few things I’m loving right now:

Funky Cloth Napkins

Furbish Icon Linen Cocktail Napkins – Rainbow

Funny Needlepoint Pillow

For the kiddos, I do love to shop Meri Meri! I like to incorporate their poppers, paper garland, and trees with their velvet ribbon (which is a must this season).

Isabella from Theodore B. Interiors also has shared some decorating tips!

More is more when decorating for the holidays. Think layers of lights, ornaments, and garlands. Whether it’s a traditional setup or a vibrant, eclectic mix, don’t hold back.

Use spray snow for extra flocking on your tree! It will make your tree look more full. Use ornaments of different sizes and shapes to give your tree more dimension.

You can also use balloons as a tree skirt, and they’ll look like bells!

We love these tips and hope they’ll help you with your decorating this year!
