Meet Megan: Megan Fox is the quintessential multi-tasker. Megan, her husband Tom and their 4 children are long time residents of HoHoKus. As an active mother of 4 teenagers, community volunteer and full-time Bergen County Realtor, her days are busy from early morning until late evening. Megan began her career in her family employment placement business. As she saw this business moving towards the on-line platform, she missed the personal interaction and began to do some rethinking of both her personal and career goals. This search lead her to real estate. Megan’s accolades include NJMLS Circle of Excellence winner 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, #1 agent in HoHoKus 2017 & 2019, with approximately $16.5M sold in 2019!

TSG: Reason you chose your current career:

Megan: My desire for a people-oriented profession made real estate the logical next step. In real estate, I thrive on the satisfaction I gain when helping my clients embark on the journey towards the biggest financial decision most have made in their life. Whether it is a first time home buyer or selling a long time family home, my clients are my top priority.

TSG: Biggest lesson learned in your career:

Megan: Celebrating the small steps because it is the small victories that inspire you and in turn lay the foundation for your business and even more importantly your personal life.

TSG: Future plans & goals for your business include:

Megan: I plan on expanding The Megan Fox Group. The mother in me has fostered the desire to share my knowledge and expertise with new agents. I also love learning the nuances of the many neighborhoods within our community and plan to expand my services within Bergen County.

TSG: Advice you would give to young entrepreneurs:

Megan: Continually challenge yourself! Times are not always going to be easy, as we have witnessed during this pandemic. I strongly believe that if you continue to challenge yourself, you will succeed in both your business and personal life.

TSG: Your favorite spot in Bergen County:

Megan: Of course downtown HoHoKus holds a special place in my heart. I have memories of walking my children to town for a snack, watching them meet friends on Friday after school at the gazebo, grabbing lunch with my Christies colleagues from our office at 19 Sheridan Avenue, and of course shopping and dinner. All of the above reasons are why I partnered with 4 other HoHoKus residents to start our Focus on HoHoKus campaign at the start of the pandemic. Our small businesses are the heart of all communities across the country.
