HEY BARTENDER | Happy Cinco de Mayo! In honor of this yearly celebration, we`re sharing one of our favorite cocktail recipes from @disotto_italian:
Sciara del Fuoco 🍹
🌶 Half of one Calabrian chile
🌶 ½ oz. agave syrup
🌶 ¾ oz. lime juice
🌶 ½ oz. Ramazzotti amaro
🌶 1 ½ oz. Milagro Reposado
Rim half a DOF/Rocks glass with smoked salt. Add liquid ingredients and Calabrian chile in a shaker tin set with ice. Shake for ten seconds, then double-strain into the glass over ice.

SCOUTED | Trading Treasures
Trading the used to treasure it new.
That`s the premise behind @tradingtreasures11, a furniture repurposing showroom located in Lake Bluff, which is owned by Lake Forest resident Sam Davie.
The idea for Trading Treasures came about when Sam was decorating her new home and realized her taste in interior design had changed 😬, so she started selling her furniture and replacing it with second-hand pieces that were found online or at estate sales.
Friends commented on wanting to do the same but not having the time to do so. Or Sam would meet someone at an estate sale who could look at a piece of furniture and say, "With a fresh coat of paint or new handles, this piece could be a new treasure."
Realizing she would love to bring these two groups together, Trading Treasures was born.
Aside from the cute name, buying and selling are easy, and you can now buy or submit potential consigned treasures directly on the website if you`d like, with new inventory updated weekly.
