The flowers are blooming and the sun is shining, indicating that March and Spring have arrived, bringing many events across the Mobile Bay area. We have compiled a list of must do activities that will give you a great chance to get out in the community and enjoy this beautiful season. The Beers and Blooms Festival is an annual event that combines the beauty of Bellingrath Gardens with a selection of craft beers. Guests can stroll through the gardens, enjoy live music, and taste a variety of brews.

Festival of Flowers

March 8th-10th, 11:30am-1:30pm

The award-winning Festival of Flowers will celebrate its 31st year in downtown Mobile’s Cathedral Square by proudly showcasing horticultural displays created by the Mobile area’s best teams of florists, nurseries, landscapers, designers, and artists. They will compete for bragging rights for the Festival of Flowers People’s Choice Award. Enjoy live music, outdoor seminars, and select vendors that are in keeping with the Festival of Flowers tradition. Special events include ArtWalk and a Saturday morning Exotic Car Show. Let’s have fun, give back to our healthcare community, celebrate the Mobile area, and watch as our most creative show off their talents!

Festival of Flower’s Bud’s & Brews

March 9th, 5:30pm-9:30pm

During their 11th annual Buds and Brews, presented by the Providence Foundation’s Young Advisory Group, guests 21 and up are invited to join them for good food, beer, and a musical performance by The Brandon Green Band! Proceeds will be used to purchase advanced EKG monitors for the Cardiac Care Unit at Providence Hospital. 


 Infirmary Foundation Celebrate Life

March 14th, 11:15am

Celebrate Life is Infirmary Foundation’s healthcare fundraiser to benefit women’s health initiatives at Mobile Infirmary. The event brings together women of all ages who are interested in having the best healthcare services available in Mobile. This year’s event will support the Birth Center at Mobile Infirmary where over 1000 babies are delivered each year and is home to Infirmary Health’s Level II Special Care Nursery. This year’s speaker will be our very own scouted Interior Designer, Katie Kirby.


The Hope Farm will be celebrating all things Irish. Ireland has a long and intriguing history of producing, and drinking, fine whisk(e)y. Not into whiskey? Don’t worry, Ireland makes great gin as well!


Fairhope’s Arts & Crafts Festival

March 15th, 16th & 17th 10:00am-5:00pm

For over 70 years, Fairhope’s flower-lined streets have proudly hosted the Fairhope Arts & Crafts Festival. While it has grown and evolved throughout the years, it remains a familiar family tradition for so many. During this three-day event, the population of 22,000 swells to nearly 300,000 as our downtown streets come alive with creativity, showcasing the best in art, food, and entertainment in our blossoming community, full of southern charm.


 Hop on The Hill

A fun outing for the whole family in front of The Holiday and It’s Inviting with shopping, children’s activities, and photos with the Easter Bunny.


Join Thomas Hospital and Wells Fargo for the 45th Annual Spring Fever Chase, a 10K and 2-Mile fun run/walk that winds through beautiful downtown Fairhope overlooking Mobile Bay. The 10K is accurately measured, flat to rolling, with five water stations along the route and one at the finish. Downtown Fairview at the intersection of Fairhope Ave. and Bayview St.


Travel from Northern Italy to the islands at its Southern Tip and drink a taste of four different expressions of this amazing country along the way at The Hope Farm.

46th Annual Azalea Trail Run

March 23rd, 6:00am-10:30am

Mobile’s Azalea Trail Run celebrates 46 years of running the streets of Mobile on March 23, 2024. The Azalea Trail Run offers USATF certified 10K and 5K race courses, plus a 2K Fun Run/Walk. All races start and finish in downtown Mobile.


Mobile Ballet presents Sleeping Beauty

Mobile Ballet’s Sleeping Beauty will transport you on a mystical journey in the timeless fairytale where good versus evil and the power of love overcomes all obstacles. This iconic ballet is a masterclass in the classical style, ideal for lifelong ballet lovers as well as newcomers.

The Hope Farm’s Gaja Wine Dinner

The Hope Farm Invites you to The Barn for a night to remember tasting four different expressions of the highly sought after Gaja Wines. Gian Domenico Intermaggio, a representative of the Gaja Family, will join their Wine Director, Will Jones, to pair these four wines with four courses designed by their Executive Chef, Adam Stephens. Throughout this evening, they will discuss two wines from the Mt.Etna Winery, IDDA, and two wines from the original Gaja winery, culminating in a taste of Gaja’s Conteisa Barolo. This is a night not to be missed.


Infirmary Health Bunny Bolt

March 30th, 8:00am-12:00pm

Grab your friends and family and hop on over to the Infirmary Health Bunny Bolt on the campus of Mobile Infirmary. This is a family friendly event with a 5K run, 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk and post-race festivities. The post-race party will include food, music and photos with the Bunny. This year there will also be an Easter Egg hunt so bring a basket if you want to participate. Proceeds from the event will benefit children’s health education programs at the Exploreum Science Center and the Fuse Project.
