The Gate City sits within the Piedmont Triad along I-40, I-73, and I-85, giving easy access for travel and accessibility. With a relaxed and well-planned Piedmont International Airport, it’s an easy location for travel. As a city, Greensboro is often known for its role in the Revolutionary War as well as the Greensboro Four Sit-Ins at the Woolworth Co. – now the site of the International Civil Rights Museum in downtown Greensboro. It consistently ranks as one of the best cities to live, raise a family, and work. There is no end to the creativity, opportunity and sense of community found in Greensboro!

Any local will notice that each shop, store, restaurant, or other business on this list is locally-owned, operated and/or run by members of our community. We are proud to share the plethora of local businesses that thrive in this town. Some of these businesses also have storefronts in other Triad locations from Winston-Salem to High Point so be sure to check them out no matter where you travel in our region.
