Dr. Jamie Welshhans was recently named the new Medical Director of the Trihealth Cosmetic Surgery & Rejuvenation Center. Dr. Welshhans is specially trained in minimally-invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, including image-guided sinus surgery, and balloon sinuplasty, laser-assisted surgery, and endonasal rhinoplasty techniques. Dr. Welshhans is focused on offering outstanding care and incorporating the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Dr. Welshhans has always had an interest in cosmetic surgeries and since joining Trihealth, has been motivated to push the Cosmetic Center forward. “We have this unique opportunity to be a private cosmetic practice within a huge medical organization backed by Trihealth,” says Dr. Welshhans.

Seeking a procedure through Trihealth Cosmetic means treatments and procedures, even those that are minimally invasive, are being done by a surgeon nonetheless, meaning a patient can have an extremely knowledgeable and capable doctor performing what they would like to be performed. The Cosmetic Center being within the Trihealth system makes things safer for patients due to having more resources, given they are connected to the surgery centers, easy access to referring doctors and hospitals, as well as easier access to patients’ histories. 

“What I like most about what I do is that I am helping people reach their goals to feel confident,” Dr. Welshhans shares. “I want people to feel excellent on the inside and out.”

Dr. Welshhans, along with Dr. Kevin Shumrick, are the two ENT Facial Plastics doctors who operate neck up, focusing on face lifts, rhinoplasties, and facial rejuvenation. Dr. Binh Nguyen, Dr. Kayla Smith, and Dr. William Tobler Jr, are the three other board certified plastic surgeons who make up the rest of the Trihealth Cosmetic Surgery and Rejuvenation Center office.
