Rainbow Row

Rainbow Row, a street of pastel colored homes, is the quintessential Insta spot. These historic homes represent the largest cluster of Georgian row houses in the United States and were painted their signature colors starting in the 1930’s when they began getting restored.

Pro Tip: On a super busy Saturday you can find professional influencers, the novice, the tourist, the engagement shoot, etc. all lined up on Rainbow Row. We recommend seeing this spot on a weekday to avoid a pictorial traffic jam.

Frannie & the Fox/Hotel Emeline

One of Charleston’s newest boutique hotels, Hotel Emeline is an instagrammer’s dream. Funky wallpaper, secret doors, mid century furniture and record players in the hotel rooms.

Pro Tip: Hotel Emeline’s signature restaurant, Frannie & the Fox is delicious and offers an eclectic menu, with photo-worthy indoor and outdoor seating. Word to the wise, get reservations early, as it’s booked most weekends!

The Pineapple Fountain

This iconic fountain is a true staple of the Charleston ‘gram. Opening in 1990, it has become a symbol of hospitality in the Holy City.

Pro Tip: In the hot summer months, you can find children splashing in the fountain. While this is cute, it doesn’t make for an instaworthy pic. If you want a good snap, go early or after bedtime!

The Grand Bohemian Rooftop/ Eleve Restaurant

The Grand Bohemian is amazing in it’s own right, but head upstairs to Eleve, the rooftop restaurant and lounge. Fun colors and unique furniture make this the perfect photo op.

Pro Tip: The outdoor area isn’t huge and during peak hours, you’ll need a reservation to sit outside. The inside is pretty amazing too though, so don’t shy away from this spot if the outside area is full.

Camellias

Camellias, Hotel Bennett’s pink themed champagne room is over the top! Blush and teal velvet chairs flank the room, offset with beautiful, metallic wall murals. Instagram can’t get enough of this pink palace. It’s posh, elaborate, and will have your friends commenting!

Pro Tip: Surprise, Surprise, once again, seating is limited and this is a very popular spot. The later it gets, the more crowded it gets. If you want space to grab the perfect pose, we recommend you get their before the after dinner crowd rolls in.
