Tip 1 – Creating a “Grab and Go” station

Create a “grab and go” station for easy to get items such as granola bars, protein bars, trail mix, Pro tip: Unbox individually wrapped items to save space inside.

Granola bars, protein bars, and trail mix are all great healthy alternatives for easy snack choices and “grab and go” options. They are great hiking snacks and road snacks. Fill your “grab and go” station with healthier treats!

Tip 2: Easy Access

Keep snacks easy to access in categories such as salty snacks and sweet treats. Decide if kid’s snacks should be at their eye level or up high for little ones.

Tip 3: Paper Products & More

Keep paper products and water bottles easily accessible. Break down the categories with like items such as paper plates, plastic cups, utensils, water bottles, etc.

Tip 4: Stocking Up

Stock up on items you will use most during the summer such as drinks, and snacks. Be prepared and you will be ready any time a friend stops over to sit on the deck or patio.

Exploring Big Sky and Bozeman, Montana during the summer sure can leave you thirsty and extra hungry, so it is probably a good idea to keep things extra stocked up for the kiddos after a long day of adventure!

Tip 5: The Biggest Tip Of All

The last and most important part of any NEAT space are labels. Without them, your system will likely fall apart quickly. Make sure everyone in your home knows what belongs where with easy-to-read labels. Don’t get too specific with your category names. General terms like “grab and go” and “salty snacks” will make it easy to store just about anything, as your needs and grocery list changes.

Get your own labels for your pantry on the Neat Method website. You can label a basket or drawer with these options. You even get 10% off your order by entering your email address when you visit the website!
