The Best Cigar Lounges in the Treasure Valley and Beyond

Once viewed as a hideaway for only the most refined connoisseurs, cigar lounges are having their renaissance. The Treasure Valley has seen a few of these dark-paneled, aphotic den establishments popping up quietly in the last several years, and with these comes a growing following of longtime devotees and novice cigar buffs alike. We’ve rounded up some of Boise and the Valley’s best cigar lounges where you can puff, imbibe, take in the big game or simply relax.

+ a Bonus Suggestion

The Cigar Silo

Five unassuming granary silos reveal- in true Narnia fashion- have been converted into a cigar  aficionado’s dream. Located in Sweet, Idaho (the name says it all, doesn’t it?) at Anderson Reserve, near Horseshoe Bend and Montour, this wonderland of cigars and custom cocktails is the perfect place to host parties and gatherings. Bonus: If traveling from Boise, they offer some pretty cool ride services so you can enjoy responsibly.

Sturman’s Wine and Cigars

For those who are familiar with Chinden Boulevard, good spots can be easy to miss in the vast stretches of auto shops and gas stations. Tucked in squarely along this expanse, Sturman’s is a cigar and wine enthusiast’s personal retreat, complete with a 3,000 square foot patio which serves as a summertime haven. The demurely outfitted interior prioritizes comfort and an eye towards design. A selection of wine, beer, and canned cocktails are available as accompaniment.

V-Cut Lounge

Just around the corner from Flying M Coffee Garage in downtown Nampa, V-Cut Lounge deals in the business of no stone left unturned in cigar lounge indulgences. Boasting a walk-in humidor where curious patrons can get schooled on cigar varieties and their characteristics, the cocktail and spirits menu proves equally as robust. Weekly events including live music are the cherry on top.

The Vault

With two locations in Eagle, Meridian and one soon to arrive in Caldwell in 2024, The Vault first opened its downtown Meridian space in 2014 in a 1905 brick building that was once a bank, amongst other things. Cigar lovers can enjoy a variety of events, from sports to educational series on cigars, and spirits master classes.

Engedi Cigar Lounge

While not technically within the Treasure Valley, Engedi is our honorable mention, and worth the stop in Pocatello. Dedicated enjoyers of cigars can join as members of this exclusive cigar club, which includes as its benefits a monthly guest, humidor locker and no cutting fees for bringing your own cigars. Translating to “oasis paradise,” Engedi brings just that to its patrons. Inquire within for more information before visiting.
