10 Barrel Brewing Co.

Originally started in Bend, Oregon, 10 Barrel found its place right along West Bannock Street in downtown Boise, where it serves patrons handcrafted brews and delicious elevated pub food. On tap, they have an exciting award-winning collection of ales, blondes, and sours and a selection of seasonal, specialty, and limited-release canned and bottled beers. They also boast their locally sourced pub-food menu consisting of appetizers, starters, pizzas, and more.

Bear Island Brewing

Bear Island is a small, veteran-owned brewery with a big personality. Situated along Liberty Street in old Boise Firehouse #6, this family-run craft brewery features a range of always-on-tap ales and a specialty or seasonal selection of beers, ciders, and cider wines. Catch the Rockin’ Q BBQ food truck every Friday and Saturday and live music every first Friday of the month.

Located on Broad St. in downtown Boise, Boise Brewing is a community-owned brewery offering an extensive range of craft beer, some of which are award-winning. Highlands Hollow Brewhouse

Highlands Hollow — or simply “The Hollow” to loyal patrons — holds the title of the oldest microbrewery in Boise (est. 1992.) Their claim to fame? Barbarian Brewing

If you enjoy particularly sour beers, you should definitely stop by Barbarian Brewing.
