A Note from the Editor on Volume 8

Editor Rebecca Todd Stewart lounges on a kitchen floor while perusing The Scout Guide Birmingham, Volume 8.

Welcome to Volume 8 of The Scout Guide Birmingham! Putting this book together has been such a joy and I am so grateful to each business who has entrusted me to tell their story. I feel a deep connection to this hidden gem tucked in the hills of Alabama and the people who call it home – I hope this book makes you feel the same. Grab dinner at one of our award winning restaurants, drink a locally brewed beer (or two!), shop our fabulous boutiques, admire our gorgeous architecture and explore the unique places that make this city so special. Thank you Birmingham for supporting our small business community and cheers to many more years of local!

– Rebecca Stewart
