Meet Rebecca Todd

Before planting roots in Birmingham, Alabama, Rebecca grew up in Fairhope and went to college in Auburn. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in apparel merchandise, she was whisked away to Texas to start her career as a product manager and account coordinator for Hazen & Co.

Three years later, Alabama was calling her home and she knew exactly where she wanted to settle down. She has fallen in love with Birmingham and can’t wait to help others do the same.

She is most looking forward to supporting so many talented entrepreneurs and helping them connect with other small businesses. After years of admiring The Scout Guide, she is thrilled to be bringing it back to Birmingham.

Rebecca’s Favorite Reasons to Visit

Reason 1

Food and drink. “The culinary scene has really taken off the last few years in Birmingham. From award-winning restaurants for something more upscale to fun dives for a quick bite, we really have it all. When you are done eating and need a drink, I recommend one of the incredible breweries we have, which are some of the best in the country!”

Reason 2

The neighborhoods. “Birmingham is a collection of 99 wonderfully unique neighborhoods. These neighborhoods are filled with diverse restaurants, shops and homes. A great way to spend the day is driving through each one and looking at the amazing architecture.”

Reason 3

Nature. “Birmingham is the perfect mix of everything outdoors. If you are looking for a relaxing day outside, we have the beautiful Birmingham Botanical Gardens and The Birmingham Zoo. Or if you want something more adventurous, head to Jemison Park or Ruffner Mountain to explore the great outdoors”
