TSG Tucson’s Member Spotlight: Dr. Karley Schneider – DMD – Our TSG Volume 2 & 3 member Dr. Karley is a compassionate and skilled dentist, who operates two flourishing dental offices-Ironwood Dental in Northwest Tucson and Mesquite Dental in Midtown, while advocating for a cause that holds a personal place in her heart.

With her warm smile and gentle demeanor, Dr. Schneider, and her ‘dental family’ of colleagues create a welcoming environment for patients at both of her dental offices in Tucson. Mesquite Dental (formerly Brei dentistry) joined the Ironwood dental brand family in spring of 2023. It was a seamless and favorable addition to the family as Dr. Brei was a mentor and colleague to Dr. Schneider for many years. Her dedication to providing quality dental care and fostering lasting relationships with patients and the Tucson community as a whole is evident in her thriving practices. Patients of all ages appreciate her attention to detail and her ability to make even the most anxious visitors feel at ease. We are lucky to have her as one of out TSG Tucson members.

Beyond her professional success, Dr. Karley Schneider is deeply involved in supporting the diabetes community. Having lived through the recent diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes in her preschool aged daughter Lily, she knows firsthand the challenges families face.
JDRF is the leading global organization harnessing the power of research, advocacy, and community engagement to advance the life changing breakthroughs for type 1 diabetes.’
Driven by her personal passion, she has become an JDRF advocate and fundraiser, working tirelessly to raise awareness of Type 1 diabetes, with local FUNdraising events, at her dental offices and with friends and family in Southern Arizona. By creating a positive and nurturing atmosphere in her dental offices to educate her patients about the importance of a healthy lifestyle ,and using her platform to raise awareness, particularly for those living with diabetes.
November is National Diabetes Awareness Month. JDRF chapters across the globe are working to fundraise for a cure to this disease. The Schneider family’s story was featured at the recent Promise Gala benefiting the local Arizona/ New Mexico Chapters of JDRF hosted in Phoenix, Arizona on October 28, 2023.
