Meet Rebecca Vaughan & Alisa Marie Beyer

Rebecca and her rescue dog, Sheba reside in North County San Diego. Her passion for supporting local businesses stems from her family’s entrepreneurial background. Her journey began at seven when Rebecca went door-to-door selling Christmas cards from a catalog out of a cardboard briefcase. She went on to run a 50+ person national sales team, helped to found two marketing firms, a research firm, and a start-up liquor brand. Although her career path has been diverse, her passion for building businesses and forming connections has remained unwavering.

Rebecca is grateful to Alisa Marie Beyer, her longtime business partner, for partnering with her to bring The Scout Guide to San Diego. The duo has seized upon the opportunity to collaborate again to showcase the thriving business community of coastal San Diego.

Alisa Marie Beyer, the daughter of two remarkable dreamers, was raised between Pennsylvania and California. She resides in San Diego, California with her partner Eric, and their three children. Alisa and Eric also spend time at their home in Lake Tahoe and Villard Ranch 1881, a 3,000-acre cattle ranch. Despite her busy schedule as a mother and entrepreneur, Alisa is always up for new adventures and cherishes the time she spends with her family and friends.

Known for staying calm in any storm, Alisa has built, funded, and sold multiple companies. She is an award-winning author who has been featured in Forbes, Fortune, Inc., and had a column in The Huffington Post. Passionate about living truthfully and making a positive difference in the world, her mission is helping women turn their dreams into a thriving, profitable business. Alisa wants more women to enjoy the freedom and fulfillment of being their own boss by empowering them with the knowledge and confidence they need.
