In speaking with Interform’s consulting Creative Director Jessica Whalen, we learned that the themes of each night go beyond mere aesthetics; they are powerful statements that challenge conventions and celebrate individuality. Setting the stage, Jess shared that the theme for night one declares “This is not a fashion show, this is a movement,” inviting participants to embrace fashion as a catalyst for change. Night two transforms the runway into a platform, amplifying voices that deserve to be heard. On night three, Interform leads us on a journey of self-expression, returning to form and the very essence of fashion: Interform.

Through their lens, Interform turns these themes into affirmations, intersecting with the people of those who are part of this transformative experience. “You are not a trend, you are iconic,” they declare, reminding participants of their timeless impact. They note that “You are not a number, you are a story,” honoring the depth of each individual’s journey. In reference to the audience in attendance, they will declare that “You are not an audience, you are the muse,” recognizing the inspiration that flows between creator and observer.

In their visionary approach, Interform brings these statements to life, showcasing the diverse tapestry of humanity. “Return to form” is not a call to revert to old ways but an invitation to stand boldly in one’s uniqueness. It’s about holding one’s shoulders back, stepping into the spotlight, and embracing the spotlight as one’s own.
