On Our Radar: 3.2.24

VISIT: The first Saturday of every month the galleries open their doors and showcase their latest exhibitions. We are excited about Dale Newkirk’s exhibition, “abstraction and jazz, new works” that is now on view at Cole Pratt Gallery until March 30th. Dale Newkirk is an artist who works in sculpture, drawing and painting in a non-representational visual language in a variety of forms and materials. Newkirk starts with a series of lines, grids, and linear programs to create engaging pieces of art that are full of color. Visit the opening reception tonight from 5-7 PM to view his work.

WANT: Isabel and I spent some time in the streets on Thursday and we stopped by Phina’s Lakeview location and FeBe. At Phina, I got this cocktail shaker, Vuori pants, and these floating glasses. At FeBe, I grabbed a pair of black jeans. Isabel picked up some Enewton bracelets at Phina and this dress and vest from FeBe.

LOVE: Spring Break is right around the corner. If you are coming to New Orleans to visit or a local looking for some fun activities to do, read our Spring Break Cheat Sheet.
