The Best Places to Stay in Greenville

Whether you’re seeking a charming stay on Main Street or a relaxing, mountain-view retreat, Greenville’s lodging accommodations offer something for everyone. Here we’ve listed some excellent options for those visiting town or locals looking for a staycation. Don’t forget to tell them The Scout Guide sent you when you book your stay!

Hotel Domestique (10 Road of Vines, Travelers Rest). A short trip from Downtown, Hotel Domestique offers a serene escape at the base of the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains. You can enjoy guided adventures, unparalleled views, and authentic cuisine featuring ingredients from local farms. Instagram

Room and Revival’s “The Pettigru House” (106 Whitsett Street). The Pettigru House is so charming and so special. Owner Jessica has preserved the property’s historic bones (original hardwoods and glass paneled doors) with an added touch of modern flair. Visitors feel immediately welcomed with treats from local small businesses supplied in the kitchen. I cannot recommend this locale enough. Instagram

The Westin Poinsett Marriott (120 South Main Street). I stayed here on my first-ever trip to Greenville, and it was part of what made me fall in love with our city. The hotel is located centrally in the booming Main Street District. You can walk everywhere, the decor is classic, and the amenities and staff are lovely. Instagram

Grand Bohemian (44 East Camperdown Way). Staying at The Grand Bohemian is an experience unlike any other in Greenville. Upon entering, you immediately feel as if you are on a luxurious mountain lodge retreat. You can sip cocktails while immersing yourself in the natural world around you. I love taking visitors here to experience our urban oasis. Instagram

Hotel Hartness (120 Halston Avenue). A family-owned endeavor, Hotel Hartness has our hearts. There are works of art by talented local artists around every corner, a warm ambiance that makes you want to grab a book (or a cocktail) and stay forever, and the staff is so attentive. Instagram
