The cafe lunch provides job training, employment, and career-building opportunities to survivors of sexual exploitation and addiction—a unique paradigm. Also, the chicken salad is fantastic. Pomegranate on Main (618 South Main Street). Pomegranate on Main provides simple, fresh, and flavorful Persian cuisine. I love its vibrant atmosphere as it sits on Main Street. I pair the Pomegranate Martini with the Saffron Chicken Kabob. Instagram
Jianna (600 South Main Street). Jianna is such a downtown gem. In my book, the mix of oysters and homemade pasta is always a win. It also overlooks Falls Park, so you can enjoy the waterfall views as you wine and dine. Instagram
Juniper (315 South Main Street). At Juniper, the atmosphere is electric. Straight off the elevator, you are welcomed with an incredible parade of florals. The cocktails and small bites are fabulous. Be sure to go at sunset and experience the most magical views. Instagram

The Rabbit Hole (1268 Pendleton Street). The Rabbit Hole is a magical location. The decor is inspired by Alice in Wonderland’s “Down the Rabbit Hole.” There is so much character around every nook, and the small plates and cocktails are just as whimsical as the decor itself. Instagram
The 05 (3016 Augusta Street). The 05 is an Augusta Road mainstay. It is my go-to for nights out with the ladies. I love the tuna nachos, crispy Brussels sprouts salad, and the skinny margarita. Instagram
Patterson Kitchen + Bar (120 Halston Avenue). Patterson Kitchen + Bar is a breath of fresh air. You receive the warmest welcome from the staff upon arrival.
