The arrival of spring always feels like a long-awaited reprieve.

For many, the ritual of purchasing some new spring sandals and new swimsuit solidifies the anticipation of spring break’s arrival. To set the stage for a stylish spring vacation, here are some top 2024 swimsuit trends to spark your inspiration…

VERSATILITY IN REVERSIBILITY

Reversibility, with one side boasting a vibrant color or pattern and the other offering a different look, is a savvy choice for both style and practicality.

A new twist is the ability to reverse the front of your swimsuit to the back, and vice versa. This Ivy top in pearl (ribbed) by Citrine reverses back to front and offers endless possibilities.

VIBRANT COLORS

Vibrant shades of red, blue, and green are on trend. From rich jewel tones, to lime greens, to demin blue and lilac… color is a top contender in 2024 swimsuit trends.

The “Maui” bikini top and “Barcelona” bottom in Jade Green by Love & Bikinis, the “Cala” one piece in red by Hutch, and the “Solid Halter” and “High Waist Bottom” in Royal Blue by Tara Grinna are all fabulous options.

INNOVATIVE FABRICS & EMBELLISHMENTS

Fabrics such as swimmable velvet, shimmery lurex, and textured ribs are making huge waves in the swimwear scene.

Additionally, embellishments such as jewelry-inspired rings made from metal or acrylics now adorn swimsuits. I love the “Ring Cinched One Piece” and the “Shimmer Deep V Ring Tie Halter Top” by Shoshanna for that added touch of glamour.

CUTOUTS

Whether it’s a keyhole in the neckline or cutouts along the sides of a one-piece, cutouts provide the illusion of a two-piece while providing the support of a one-piece.

Two of my favorites include the “Cut Out One Piece“ by Cosita Linda (reversible pattern/color, shimmery lurex fabric, and cutouts) and the “Marina One Piece” in white by L*Space (cutouts and textured eyelet fabric).
