The Scout Guide Fort Myers, Florida owners

Meet Jennifer Adams & Alie Lambert

ALIE LAMBERT

Alie and her husband, Cody, moved to Bonita Springs in the spring of 2023. As someone with an affinity for all things sunny and sandy, Alie felt instantly at home at the beach. Propelled by a desire to get to know her new community, she discovered The Scout Guide Naples through an online feature about local summer dining deals, and it was love at first read. She joins The Scout Guide Fort Myers as editor with a career background in advertising and public relations and is thrilled to be launching this new market in her own backyard.

In her free time, you can find Alie reading, planning her next outfit, at a Pilates class, making a dinner reservation, or traveling with Cody.

JENNIFER ADAMS

Jennifer Adams has called Southwest Florida home since 2007, when she swapped coasts of Florida for what she describes as “the more charming of the two.” Since graduating from the University of Florida, she’s spent time as a magazine editor, marketing pro, social media strategist and copywriter, and blogger. She acquired The Scout Guide Naples in 2020 as an opportunity to share the stories of the people, places, and businesses that make Naples such a special place to live and visit. She couldn’t be happier to expand the TSG footprint into Fort Myers and all of Lee County.

Apart from Scouting, Jennifer is often out and about with her husband, Jesse, riding horses, or taking many walks with their endlessly energetic Jack Russell Terrier, Riley.

Jennifer and Alie's Favorite Reasons to Visit

Reason 1

The people. “We’ve made friends who have landed here from all over the world, whom we would never have crossed paths with if it weren’t for our wonderful melting pot community.”

Reason 2

The food. “You could dine out every day for a whole year and still not scratch the surface of the local dining scene. We love attempting to try them all!”

Reason 3

The scenery. “It’s special to live among such beautiful nature scenes and wildlife, all while being only a 20-minute drive to the beach. As sunset enthusiasts, driving to the beach to watch the sun set on the Gulf is a novelty we do not take for granted. The palm trees and blue skies are a constant reminder of why we and many others consider the area to be a slice of paradise.”

WORDS TO LIVE BY:  “Life is always just today, and the today you have to try to enjoy, not tomorrow or the day after.” —Unknown
