15th Annual Doggie Howl-O-ween on The Downtown Mall – Friday, October 27th 5-8pm

Come to The Downtown Mall for trick or treating with your dog (for dog treats instead of candy) followed by a costume parade and contest. Lots of treats, over $1500 in prizes and raffles and fun! Visit the photo booth and caricature artist, Heath Pecorino to capture your little ones. Suggested donation of $15 goes to the Cat Action Team.

YMCA Halloween Hustle 10K Run/2 Mile Fun Family Walk – Saturday, October 28th 8:30-10:30am

This family-friendly event is a great way to get some exercise, enjoy the fall weather, and give back to the community. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costumes and there will be plenty of treats and surprises along the way.

A-MAZE-ING HALLOWEEN HARVEST FEST at the Blue Ridge Mountain Maze – Saturday, October 28th, 5-10pm

Celebrate the season with live music, dress up in your costume, boogie to the band and explore the 5 acre corn maze in the dark!  There will be candy and fun for ALL ages!

Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch at Liberty Mills Farm – Saturday, October 28th 10am-10pm & Sunday, October 29th 11am -6pm

Visit the largest Corn Maze in the Country at Liberty Mills Farm in Somerset! Spend a half hour or all day exploring the 12 miles of trails. A perfect way to spend the weekend before Halloween – join Liberty Mills for your A-MAIZE-ING Adventure! 

Poloween at King Family Vineyards – Sunday, October 29th 10am-4pm

King Family Vineyards & Roseland Polo are excited to host the 2nd annual Poloween on Sunday, October 29th! Dress up yourselves, your pups, and your tailgate for a chance to win amazing prizes. Gates open at 10am for trunk or treating, and a pony parade will kick off the events at 12pm. Costume contests for dogs and humans (and maybe a ghost or two!) will follow, with a polo match beginning at 2pm.

Trick-or-Treat at The Dairy Market – Sunday, October 29th 2-5pm

Come in costume and Trick-or-Treat at the Dairy Market! Come anytime, bring your bag for candy collection, and take a lap around the market to visit each of the merchants for a yummy treat. Tag @dairymarketcville in all of your boo-tiful Halloween costume pictures for a chance to be featured.

Trick-or-Treating on The Lawn – Tuesday, October 31st, 5-7pm

This longtime UVA tradition established by students in the late 1980s is not only a highly anticipated event for the University, it is also open to and eagerly awaited by children and families from the local community. Lawn residents and members of student organizations are stationed in the 54 Lawn rooms as well as the Range to give out treats. All candy is donated and distributed by approximately 70 student groups and other organizations. Hosted by Lawn and Range residents and co-sponsored by Housing & Residence Life, the event receives additional support from the offices of Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Facilities Management, Parking & Transportation, and the University Police Department.

Halloween Party at Quirk – Tuesday October 31st, 5-10pm

Quirk is the place to drink and dance this Halloween! No ticket required. Enjoy live jazz at the Lobby Bar and a special “Morticia” cocktail, a cider Aperol spritz. On the Rooftop, dance the night away with a PSL cocktail & salsa and bachata music. Don’t forget your costume as Quirk will be awarding a best dressed prize!
