Purchasing just the right gift for your loved one can be stressful during the already busy holiday season. There is always that friend or family member who is challenging – gift giving wise. However, in this day and age there is truly something for everyone on your list. The good news about our lovely city is that it has a variety of shops that allows us to find and purchase that ideal gift right here without having to travel out of town. The Amelia Earring – Betsy says that every year, the Amelia Earring continues to be her favorite earring. “It’s lightweight yet still bold enough to make a statement,” she adds. “They are the ‘go to’ for any holiday party or formal event.” The price for the Amelia Earring is $48.

Gemstone Necklaces – Any of the new gemstone necklaces are fabulous gifts, including Jarvis, Rigsby, and Middlebrook. “BPD started with beaded statement necklaces, and I am shameless to admit I have been waiting since 2015 for them to come back,” says Betsy. “You will catch me covered in every single style this year.” Prices range from $48 – $68.

Estelle Colored Glass – “It is everyone’s favorite thing! If you don’t have it yet, you are missing out,” says Alice. “It’s such a special gift because of all the color choices and styles – you can really zero in on your loved ones vibe.” Prices range from $60 – $195.

Throws – “This is always a great ‘go to’ gift,” suggests Alice. “So comforting and always needed, they tend to need an upgrade long before you do it for yourself.” The shop carries Sherpa Johnny Was throws, faux rabbit fur throws, and cotton throws. Prices range from $97 –  $240.

Angels – These angels are handmade, one-of-a-kind pottery designed by Lauren Robbins and Shishir Chokshi of Tire City Potters. “We love gifting original artwork because it is a one-of-a kind, unique gift,” says Lauren Robbins of Lauren Robbins Interiors. They come in a variety of glazes, and each one is unique. Doesn’t everyone know a special angel in their life who deserves one of these adorable treasures? These retail for $45 each for the small and $75 for the large.

Hand Blown Glass Ornaments – These works of art make a wonderful Christmas gift, according the LRI Design Team. “Start a collection for your tree and after Christmas transfer the works of art to a large bowl for a touch of color year-round,” says Lauren. Prices range from $28-$45 each.

Antique Wooden Boxes and Tea Caddies – These are wonderful pieces to add to your home and add interest to entry ways and side tables as well as antique chests and dressers, suggests the LRI Design Team. No two are identical and many have hidden compartments and trays. “We keep our eyes out for these at auctions, estate sales and antique shows!” adds Lauren. Prices range from $200-$500.
