Collectively, Heidi and Peyton’s goal is to provide inspiration and information for living like an “insider,” support and elevate local businesses, celebrated chefs, inspiring entrepreneurs, talented artists, and the area’s movers and the shakers. In their guide, you’ll tag along for a memorable journey exploring what to do, where to go, what to eat, and what not to miss on your next beach getaway.

Peyton has always had her finger firmly planted on the pulse of what’s happening in the community. Peyton graduated from Ole Miss with degrees in journalism and in graphic design. She went on to work as an anchor/reporter for ABC-TV’s Good Morning New Orleans Show. She volunteers for several non-profits and serves as president of the Emerald Coast Ole Miss Rebel Club.

Heidi also began her career in TV before moving on to be a part of the team that re-started the Louisiana Lottery after a 123-year hiatus. She went on to host  Louisiana Lottery’s Million Dollar Game Show until 1993. She then opened, Frill Seekers Gifts, in her native-Louisana before expanding to Florida. In 2016 she co-founded Destin High School and serves as the president of the school’s Governing Board.

Whether you’re a local or a guest, Heidi and Peyton are excited for you to dive into the extraordinary places and explore the exceptional businesses along Florida’s Emerald Coast.
