Cat’s Three Favorite Reasons to Visit Denver:
- The Outdoors. “There’s not much you can’t do outside in beautiful Denver. We have 300 days of sunshine a year and lots of activities to accompany them. There’s ample skiing within two hours of Denver. And in warmer months, you can explore the city on B-cycles (our destination bike sharing program), go to a Rockies baseball game and wander the grounds of the Botanic Gardens or take in one of their outdoor concerts. Visiting Red Rocks is a must. There are hiking trails, concerts, yoga, and even movies on the Rocks.”
- Great Food and Drink. “The Denver food scene is growing dramatically with chef-owned restaurants featuring unique menus made with the best local ingredients. Additionally, Denver has become a major hub for the burgeoning craft beer and spirits industry, with 50+ local craft breweries. Two areas where I love to dine and drink are the recently renovated Union Station located in LoDo, and The Source in the up-and-coming RiNo neighborhood.”
- The Arts. “Denver is home to many museums, including the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Children’s Museum of Denver, Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Arts, and Denver Art Museum (DAM). The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver is a great place to see art andgrab a rooftop drink. The Clyfford Still Museum houses 95% of the artist’s lifetime of work.”
