Tell us the story of Spirit Society. How did it begin? Spirit Society began to fill a need from our school community. We spend so much time at sporting events between our 5 kids and we had no options for spirit wear except t-shirts. We wanted something that we could wear to support our kids in their sports but in a way that could easily transition to dinner out or heading straight to play a few holes of golf. Spirit wear but elevated, thus Spirit Society was born!

What is unique about Spirit Society? Spirit Society is unique in our products, we fill a niche market of specialty items, hand stitched items, and high-end items that are not common in most schools. 

What is the most rewarding part of your job? Seeing our designs out and about! It’s such a fun experience to look around a crowded gym or stadium and see our designs on both sides!

What is the most challenging part of your job? The most challenging part of our job is staying true to our brand and our mission. We want to be different and provide products that stand out in quality and design. We spend a lot of time designing and brainstorming for our items.

What is your favorite thing about Tulsa? We love Tulsa! The small town feel in a not so small town, and the sense of community and pride for our schools is incredible! We started with a few schools that we knew the most people in and the out pouring of “our school next” is incredible, everyone wants to be “Dressed to Win” in Tulsa!

What is a fun or unique fact about your business, your team, or your line of work that you would like to share? A fun fact about Spirit Society is that we haven’t reached our first birthday yet as a company and have provided products to over 30 schools, Collegiate and Greek Licensed items! We are just getting started so follow along!
