As advocates for small businesses, The Scout Guide editors are continually scouting their communities for local finds to share and celebrate. With their fingers on the pulse, they are also excellent sources of unique recommendations. Recently, we caught up with The Scout Guide Jackson Hole editor Jill King to find out she’s really excited about these days. Here, she shares her current obsessions, from her go-to denim to the music that’s the soundtrack of her life.
1. WHAT I’M COVETING
Diamond pavé Teton outline stacking bracelet from Jackson Hole Jewelry // “I’ve always been big fan of stacking bracelets, but this one from Jackson Hole Jewelry is extra special. I love that that it evokes the outline of the majestic Tetons.”
2. WHO IS STYLING ME
Wardrobe stylist and personal shopper Rosie McNamara // “I think everyone could benefit from using a personal stylist. Rosie McNamara has truly transformed my wardrobe. She guided me to my latest buy, this gorgeous Bellini dress by La Double J.”
3. WHAT I’M DOING
Needlepointing a monogrammed pillow from Chaparral // “I love to stay busy with my hands, and they have so many beautiful projects to choose from at Chaparral. Sometimes it takes me a while, but for me, it’s all about the process.”
4. WHAT I’M GIFTING
Terrafirma braid chestnut bread bowl from Twenty Two Home // “This gorgeous bread bowl is truly a work of art and will be the perfect gift for any ardent at-home bread maker, or really, anyone who loves a good loaf.”
5. WHAT I’M LISTENING TO
Willie’s Roadhouse, 70s on 7, and Yacht Rock on Sirius XM // “Music always plays a big role in my life and these three stations are my consistent go-tos. Willie’s Roadhouse is solid background music, while 70s on 7 can help me find my groove. Yacht Rock is the soundtrack of my summer, and it always takes me back to warm, sunny days when the snows start to fall.”
6. WHAT I’M WEARING
High-waisted black flare Mother jeans from Terra // “Everyone needs a couple of pairs of jeans they can turn to in their closet. I love these black ones and my other faves at Terra are SLVRLAKE high-rise London straight leg in a light wash. As we approach fall, they will both be in regular rotation in my closet.”
7. WHERE I’M GOING
The Andrush Hotel in Dillon, Montana // “We love to go fly fishing at the Beaverhead River, but my favorite part of these trips is staying at The Andrush Hotel. It dates back to 1917 and sits right on Dillon’s Main Street. Steeped in history, this boutique gem is cozy and luxe.”
