Tis the season for Christmas Pop-ups here in Saint Louis! There are so many Christmas themed bars that have opened up this season! Here is your guide to my top 5 Christmas pop-ups that will help get you in the holiday spirit!
BEST VIEWS TO LOOK FOR SANTA IN THE STL SKYLINE:
“Up on the Rooftop” located at 360 Rooftop Bar downtown has great views, fun decor, and a menu with delicious food & drinks.
PRO-TIP: get there early, the place is small and tends to fill quickly.
BEST FAMILY-FRIENDLY OPTION:
“Sleigh Shed” at Union Station is the place to visit if you’re planning on checking out events downtown – Polar Express, Winterfest at Kiener Plaza, or even a Blues Game. The decor is one of the prettiest of all the Christmas pop-ups. The food is great and their drinks are my favorite so far! The Santa’s Red Eye Fix is soooo good. They don’t take reservations but you may be able to join their waitlist on Yelp, so plan accordingly!
BEST COUNTY OPTION:
Bling! at The Wolf in Ballwin gives you the Christmas pop-up flair in West County. The decor is fun, the food is delicious, and the drinks are on theme! Spring for the VIP area, if available, for complimentary champagne and the best popcorn ever! Reservations can be made online.
BEST OPTION ACROSS THE RIVER:
Toasted Chestnut at Public School House is the Christmas pop-up that is more than just a decorated restaurant – there’s also a beautiful light walk. The decor, food, and drinks are over the top and a MUST this holiday season. Totally worth the 25 minute drive from the city. Reservations can be made online and walk-ins are welcome on their heated tent patio.
BEST UNIQUE OPTION:
Surfin’ Santa at Planter’s House is a tiki themed Christmas pop-up bar serving tropical cocktails in Lafayette Square. Planter’s House is known for their incredible cocktails and their pop-up lives up to their reputation. Reservations can be made online.
