Meet the Founder at Camelback Flowershop

A woman's hand holding peonies and pink flowers wrapped in butcher paper bearing the brand, Camelback FLowershop and a ribbon with The Scout Guide written

When Susie Matheson, co-founder of The Scout Guide, informed us she and her family would be dropping into town, we were thrilled to share the best of the Valley with the Charlottesville, VA native and, in turn, introduce our members to one of the creative minds behind The Scout Guide.

Graciously, Camelback Flowershop offered to host us in their recently expanded workshop. Designed for creation and community, Camelback Flowershop’s new space was the perfect setting to host Susie and Scouted Members for a morning of engaging conversation and meaningful connection.

Guests enjoyed an interactive floral station complete with Camelback Flowershop’s delightful designers as well as a floral and foliage photo station. After creating custom bouquets and snapping a quick picture, guests enjoyed breakfast bites from local favorites, Essence Bakery and Bagelfeld’s. Not only was it a wonderful official start to the Spring season, it was the perfect way to introduce Susie to the Valley and kick off our Scouting Season!

Visit Camelback Flowershop’s new workshop + boutique  – just two doors down from their former space – to enjoy an expanded selection of florals, workshops + private design events, and a carefully curated collection of goods. Don’t forget to tell them Scout sent you! Not local? You can shop Camelback Flowershop’s handcrafted home items, local Phoenix treats, small-batch provisions, and wines online.
