The Holidays are approaching and we are just as excited as you! Orlando truly is such a fun place to enjoy this joyful season, and we certainly celebrate well. 


We have Scouted some of the best holiday activities in Orlando and made a list just for you! Check it out here: 

45th Annual Christmas in the Park, Thursday November 30 – At the beginning of every holiday season, the Morse Museum lights up Winter Park with Tiffany windows in Central Park and presents the Bach Festival Choir and Brass Band. You don’t want to miss this night! 

Friday, Dec. 1, 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – Join in the tradition of Winter Park holiday festivities as Park Avenue is transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with a tree lighting, menorah lighting, carolers, and a visit from Santa. The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the City of Winter Park to kickoff the holidays in Winter Park. Be part of this tradition as Park Avenue is transformed into a winter wonderland for a holiday street party.

Saturday, Dec. 2, 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. – The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the 71st annual Winter Park Ye Olde Hometown Christmas Parade. The event has been held each December for more than 65 years, making it the oldest continuous holiday parade in Central Florida. Over 80 organizations participate, including marching bands, local police and fire departments, scouting groups, local dignitaries and, of course, Santa Claus. Join us for a fabulous morning of holiday cheer.


Downtown for the Holidays, Entire month of December – Downtown Orlando has so much to offer this season, from the illuminated Eola Wonderland Christmas Tree to “snowfall” and shopping local at our holiday market, to free holiday movies on the East Lawn at Lake Eola and the Eola House to see Santa! Look for more at Downtown for the Holidays!

Ritz-Carlton Holiday GLO 5k, December 30 – The Ritz-Carlton Holiday GLO 5k is a walk or fun run family race at the Grande Lakes resort, with the beauty and landscape surrounding! We all know the Turkey Trot, and this is a fun wintry take on it! Be sure to check out all of the other holiday offerings at being offered at the Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes, from Christmas markets, gingerbread classes and Santa’s teddy bear tea time! Something for the whole family.

Leu Gardens Festival of Lights, November 24-January 6 – “Immerse yourself in the wonder of the holidays with beautiful, Moroccan Lanterns hanging from the trees overhead, fun, interactive lights that light up when you jump on them, a beautiful, bright, 70’ long light tunnel, a play area of giant, 8’ tall, rollable ornaments, a walk of thousands of laser lights, and snow all night long.. Plus all new experiences: A stunning nighttime show with 100, 10’ tall beacons of light, a dazzling, 30’ tall tree of thousands of shimmering, gold sequins, a fun, Wintery Florida display created by the Leu Gardens Horticulture Team and more, including sweet treats and holiday (and adult) beverages.” … What more could you want? 

Oh, What Fun Lake Nona, December 7-23 – Each holiday season, Lake Nona Town Center completely turns into a winter wonderland, called Peppermint Square, with a calendar full of celebrations and themed events. This will be their 6th annual “Oh, What Fun!” Holiday Festival. Click here for more information on the many holiday activities Lake Nona offers!

Wekiva Island’s Winter Wonderland– Has a SLEW of fun events for the family all December long. Snow flurries, Christmas tree forest, and Santas workshop.
