The Scout Guide Northwest Arkansas is currently scouting small businesses with a story to tell for Volume 8, and welcome your suggestions to enhance our member list. We would love to see categories such as antiques, more fashionable boutiques, salons and beauty experts, educators, pet services, creative services, event planners, local eateries, and medical professionals in our next volume. It’s a lot, but our community has this and soo much more to offer! Your input is invaluable here – recommend businesses you love and learn how we can support yours!

Here at The Scout Guide Northwest Arkansas, our goal is to connect people with local makers, experts, creatives, and one another as we showcase small businesses in our community. We leverage a combination of personalized print ad design, strategic distribution, social media marketing, online editorials, and B2B networking opportunities and events to promote small businesses in the area. As a member of The Scout Guide, it’s our job to advocate for your small business year-round! 

We’re currently scouting the best-in-their-class for Volume 8, and sharing our wish list to make it the best one yet! Tell your neighbor, your boss, tell a friend – help us get the word out if you know a special business that you think would be a great fit!  

Categories we’re hoping to add to Volume 8

Antiques. We’d love to feature one of the many charming antique and vintage shops the area has to offer!

Clothing + Styling Services. One thing about Northwest Arkansas – we’ve got great taste! What are your go-to boutiques to shop? Any style-related services we should know about that you love?

Salons + Makeup Artists. The area is filled with impressive talent with an eye for all things beauty. Who do you call on for your big events?

Schools + Educators. Anyone on your radar for all things education?

Pet. Warmer weather means getting your pet groomed and ready to get outside. Who do you call for grooming and general pet services?

Creative Services. NWA is a creative haven. We’d love to feature that creative talent! 

Event Planner. Planning a wedding or a huge birthday bash? We’ve got a few ideas of who to call, but we’d love to hear your favorites. 

Local Eats. It’s just about patio season, finally!! Where are your favorite places to hang out, relax with friends, and grab a bite to eat?

Medical. Because life happens, we’d love to share even more best-in-their-class doctors, dentists, and pediatrics. Who’s on your speed dial?

Our wishlist doesn’t stop here! We’d love to hear your recommendations and what you look for when shopping local at Northwest Arkansas small businesses, and while visiting other Scouted cities.
