The Best Hat Store (2739 North Main Street). Appropriately located in the historic stockyards area in Fort Worth, The Best Hat Store is just that. They not only offer the best and finest selections of felt and straw hats by American Hat Co, the legendary hat shapers will work with you to make your hat fit your desired style. Bette’s (5014 Gage Avenue). Bette’s is Jessica Breslin’s newest concept store, located in The Clearfork open air shopping center. Hale House (4900 Camp Bowie Boulevard). Hale House is a lifestyle boutique offering apparel, gifts and accessories, owned by influencer Bekah Hale Pollock. Known for her fun, flirty, colorful and affordable items, it is the happiest boutique on the bricks. Instagram

Esther Penn (3328 West 7th Street). Owners, Alyson Johnson and Kacey Cargile, bring the California cool vibe to Fort Worth by handpicking all the unique styles they love, and curating them into an ever-changing, always growing collection. LOCAL Design Studios (3610 West Vickery Boulevard). LOCAL is a collaboration of 8-female owned businesses: Lila Hayes (pima cotton clothing and pajamas), Kori Green jewelry, The Bow Next Door (classic hair bows, belts and basket bows), Fort 52 (watercolor playing cards), Clearly Handbags, Ro Miller Rynd Interiors (interior designer), C+B Collections (specialty furs and apparel), and City Boots (timeless top shelf cowboy boots for women). You Are Here (5109 Pershing Avenue). What started as a creative outlet (and pop-up) for owners, Anne Walker Miller and Joanna Bennett, has grown to a full scale brick and mortar boutique, featuring a fine jewelry collection curated by Jo Latham. It is a go-to for quality clothing and accessories that are current, but timeless. Notable lines include Alexis, Frank & Eileen, Hunter Bell, Mother Denim, Sea NYC, The Woods, Xirena, and Ulla Johnson. And fine jewelry by Jade Trau, Ananya, Sorellina, and Tabayer. Instagram

Squire Shop (4528 Hartwood Drive). Easily on the short list of Fort Worth’s institutions, family-owned, Squire Shop is owned by local favorite and friend to all, Steve Humble, with son Todd and daughter Kelly. Westfork Garden Market (2932 Marquita Drive). Opened in 2022 by Christina Figley and Alyssa Petrus, West Fork Garden Market is the retail extension of Figley’s sought-after West Fork Landscaping. It’s a green thumb’s dream and offers plenty for those less botanically inclined, including a custom front door wreath bar, patio furniture, curated collection of home decor and seasonal/holiday accessories, gifts, and newly launched “Elevate Your Celebrate” party decor and custom streamer garlands.
