The Scouted Calendar / December 2018

Filling the calendar is hardly a problem in December, when it seems like there’s a different holiday-themed gathering to attend every day. Here, we’ve rounded up a sample of some of our favorite festive events happening in a few scouted cities next month that will appeal to locals and visitors alike. From an unforgettable Christmas parade to a holiday tea luncheon in a historic setting, here’s what’s on our agenda for December 2018:

Aspen, Colorado

December 20 through December 31, The Aspen Chamber presents 12 Days of Aspen, with memorable events scheduled for every day. Charlotte, North Carolina

In partnership with The Charlotte Observer and SouthPark Magazine, Mingle at the Mint invites attendees to experience an exclusive holiday-themed shopping and food experience with local vendors on December 5 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Mint Museum Randolph. Jackson Hole, Wyoming

This holiday season, the Grand Teton Music Festival Community Concert Series features organist Kenneth Udy on December 14. Hunt Country, Virginia

Christmas in Middleburg is a not-to-be-missed festive celebration in the charming town. With a tree lighting, a Christmas parade, a craft fair, the famous Middleburg Hunt Review, and more, it is a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Lexington, Kentucky

On select days in December, visitors can enjoy Holiday Tea at Keene Place—a gourmet take on the traditional fine tea luncheon in a historic setting. Miami, Florida

With music, delicious hors d’oeuvres, decadent desserts, and fabulous drinks, the second annual Mistletoe & Martinis benefitting the Deering Estate Foundation is a must-attend December event. Williamsburg, Virginia

On Sunday, December 2 at 12:30 p.m., the Williamsburg Winery hosts their second annual Grand Illumination Day Holiday Feast—a festive, family-style holiday meal influenced by the food first cultivated in the region by the colonists.
