For 30 years, Paris Parker Salon & Spa has been committed to providing south Louisiana with the best salon and spa experiences using naturally derived and cruelty-free products. The family-owned operation had humble beginnings as an “old school” family-run beauty supply company founded by Abner & Harriett Neill in Shreveport, LA. As the beauty industry evolved over the years and the couple’s son Edwin II got involved, the Neill Corporation pivoted and grew into a stylist education and consumer hair care distribution company. For decades, Neill Corporation continued to (and still does) deliver systems, products and education to hundreds of salons in the region. In order to truly help improve and understand the challenges of their salon customers, the Neills knew it was time to “walk the walk” and open a salon of their own. In 1992, the first Paris Parker opened its doors in Hammond, LA, and has since expanded to eight locations in Louisiana — two of which can be found here in Baton Rouge (Paris Parker Jefferson & Paris Parker Perkins Rowe).

The Paris Parker brand continues to grow, with the latest development being The Parker Barber:  A premier barbershop experience with locations in New Orleans, Hammond and Baton Rouge. The Parker Barber is an Aveda barbershop that’s reminiscent of the early 20th century, with an apothecary feel. Combining an old-school barbershop feel with modern Aveda elements, customers are encouraged to enjoy a cocktail or beer while getting groomed by one of their highly-skilled barbers.
