7 Things Our Hamptons and Nantucket Editor Is Loving Right Now

Photography by Nick Mele.

As advocates for small businesses, The Scout Guide editors are continually scouting their communities for local finds to share and celebrate. With their fingers on the pulse, they are also excellent sources of unique recommendations. Recently, we caught up with The Scout Guide Hamptons and The Scout Guide Nantucket editor Stacey Leuliette (she’s also editor of The Scout Guide Palm Beach and The Scout Guide Jupiter & Palm Beach Gardens) to find out what she’s really excited about these days. Here, she shares her current obsessions, from the dresses she’ll be wearing all summer long to the local artists that are covering her walls.

1. WHAT I’M READING

A Newport Summer by Nick Mele & Ruthie Summers // “Nick Mele, my dear friend and creative partner-in-crime at TSG, has just published his first book,  A Newport Summer, with interior designer Ruthie Sommers. It’s a beautiful collection of Nick’s Photos from one summer in Newport. Beautiful people doing beautiful things in beautiful places.”

2. WHAT I’M GIFTING

Everything from Julia Amory // “My dear  friend Julia Amory has created the most beautiful lifestyle and home goods brand working in India blockprint patterns. From baby gifts to tabletop to everything in between, all of her designs are happy, bright,  and cheerful—just how I like everything to be!”

3. WHAT I’M COVETING

Custom Backgammon Boards from NineFair Backgammon // “Backgammon is an old Palm Beach tradition and it’s common for us to play into the wee hours of the morning. I’ve had my eye on these beautiful custom boards from NineFair Backgammon.”

4. WHAT I’M WATCHING

Documentaries by Project Paradise Film Fund  // “About a year ago a group of us in Palm Beach got together with the intention of telling stories about Florida’s wildlife through the arts. The Project Paradise Film Fund was founded by a group of native Floridians who are passionate about protecting Florida’s environment. The Natural Florida Film Grant is the Fund’s inaugural initiative. The Fund’s goal is to advocate for conservation efforts through impactful and inspired storytelling —knowing that it is much easier to bring the Florida Wildlife Corridor to its audience than vice versa. The Fund aims to provide conservation-minded storytellers with a platform for sharing perspectives on what makes Florida’s natural surroundings unique and why it is so important to protect them.”

5. WHAT I’M USING

Essential Serum by Tammy Fender  // “For over 25 years, Tammy Fender has pioneered a movement towards natural, plant-based luxury skin care and holistic living, recognizing the interconnected nature of wellness, and guiding clients towards lifestyle choices that enhance vitality on every level—body, mind and spirit. I use her Quintessential Serum and Awakening Eye Gel every day.”

6. WHAT I’M WEARING

Marina St. Barth, Cara Cara and CJ Laing Summer Dresses + White Jeans and Burgess Sweaters //  “After a busy season of galas and events in Palm Beach, I’m ready to keep things a bit more casual in the summer. You’ll often find me in light summer dresses from Marina St. Barth, Cara Cara, and CJ Laing. I’m also a big fan of white jeans with a simple cable cashmere and right now I’m loving Burgess sweaters. They’re so soft and light enough for summer weather. I’m usually carrying this raffia beach tote from Into the Woods or my Isla tote from Lana Marks.”

7. WHAT I’M DECORATING WITH

Artwork by Nancy Walker. Photography by Nick Mele.

Artwork by Nancy WalkerCarol Calicchio, and Camilla Webster // “I’ve always been drawn to anything blue and white, but I love a pop of color! I love these Palm Prints by Nancy Walker in Palm Beach. They’re just so perfectly Palm Beach! I also love Carol Calicchio’s bright and happy paintings and Camilla Webster’s work. Anything from these artists is the perfect addition to any room!”
