Friday Favorites: Rustic Fall Florals

To us, one of the most exciting aspects of fall is the shift toward a more rustic, moody, and saturated look, and seeing this reflected in florals and other natural decorative elements. We love arrangements that have a gathered-from-the-yard element to them—like this oncidium orchid in a driftwood planter, complete with bits of moss by the talented team at Avant Garden in Dallas—and to help us get inspired to create our own (or seek out similar styles executed by experts!) we’ve rounded up a few of our favorites.

South Shore-based mStarr event styling + design captioned the above creation perfectly in their Facebook post: “sometimes the prettiest flowers are those picked at the park”. We couldn’t agree more! We highly recommend following their feed, which is an ongoing source of inspiration.

Atlanta’s Gina Humphries’s multi-textured arrangement is the perfect mix of wild and elegant elements.

Red Onion in Baton Rouge has a wonderful variety of garden and outdoor elements—and ribbons!—including this gorgeous wreath. How perfect is that grey satin bow against the twigs and berries?

Wilmington’s Fiore Fine Flowers’s dahlias in deep purples mixed in with pale blush tones set the perfect mood for early fall.
