Every season comes with an influx of new trends, but what we’re really interested in are the real-life looks fashion experts are gravitating toward this fall. After all, it’s one thing to see pretty products and decked-out models on Instagram and another to witness real-life locals incorporating of-the-moment items into their everyday looks. Recently, we reached out to six fashion mavens across the country for insights into the key pieces they’re most excited to don this autumn. WHAT SHE’S WEARING: “This fall, I am most excited about wearing wide leg pants. These high waisted and wide leg plaid pants are equally stylish and comfortable, and they can be styled for all occasions. I styled them here with a linen crop top and French corduroy blazer. They could also be styled as a cool off-duty look with sneakers and a tee. WHAT SHE’S WEARING: “Here in the south, it stays warm through October, so adding plaid in the form of shorts (like these Sanford plaid shorts) with sheer tights still gives autumn feelings while letting you stay cool.
