Day In The District: Tulsa Arts

Located in northern Downtown Tulsa, the Tulsa Arts District is home to retail and service shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, galleries, museums, parks, private businesses, residences and historic music venues. It’s the perfect place to take a walk and explore the creativity and beauty of Tulsa.

Head to Archer Street for some of the best pastries and coffee in Tulsa at Laurannae Baking Co. With freshly baked cinnamon rolls, pies, and cookies along with locally brewed espresso, there’s really no better way to start your day in the Arts District.

Walk over to one of Tulsa’s most loved parks, Guthrie Green. Relax in the warm sun or participate in one of Guthrie Green’s many free morning yoga and fitness classes! Don’t forget to stop by the information desk to grab a schedule of all the activities and events happening at the park.

Lunch at Sisserou’s is always a delight. Enjoy the best Carribean cuisine in the city with a nice and quiet atmosphere.

Walk off your meal at a few of the many art museums in the district. Explore the immersive art experiences of Ahha Tulsa, local modern artists at 108 Contemporary, and tons of exhibits and events at the Living Arts.

Dine at The Bull in the Alley, one of Tulsa’s finest restaurants with a hidden entrance located in a seemingly abandoned alley. Enjoy an incredible steak dinner in this underground secret scene.
