ABOUT TSG TULSA EDITOR HANNAH ARNAUD:
Hannah Arnaud is a Midwestern girl at heart, born and raised in Kansas City. She attended college at Oklahoma State University, where she fell in love with Oklahoma. Upon graduating with a degree in finance and business management, she spent some time in Dallas working for Teach For America. After a few years, Hannah got married and moved back to Tulsa.
Hannah first saw The Scout Guide in her hometown, Kansas City, and knew Tulsa just had to have this beautiful publication. Inspired by the development and growth of the city and led by a desire to share the stories of small businesses in the community, she brought The Scout Guide to Tulsa.
As Editor, Hannah loves highlighting the fabulous business owners in the city and encouraging people to live local. Hannah is passionate about the Tulsa community and serves in leadership roles including Leadership Tulsa, Junior League of Tulsa, Living Arts of Tulsa Board and Operation Hope Prison Services Board.
Hannah and her husband Stephen reside in midtown Tulsa with their golden retrievers, Charlie and Lula. They love traveling, spending time with friends and family, and trying the latest new local restaurants.
Hannah’s Three Favorite Reasons to Visit Tulsa:
- The People – The people in Tulsa are the friendliest and most supportive I’ve ever met. Tulsa truly lives out the phrase, “Community over competition.” Business owners support one another and lift each other up. You won’t be able to come to Tulsa without the most hospitable locals starting up a conversation with you. It’s an urban environment with a small town feeling.
- The Arts and Culture – Tulsa boasts a phenomenal creative scene full of art, music, and theater. With a variety of old and new galleries and incredible museums such as Philbrook Museum and Gilcrease Museum, there is so much to experience. The up-and-coming Tulsa Arts District is a must-see for anyone who comes to the city, especially on First Fridays.
- The Entrepreneurial Spirit – Tulsa has risen as a leader in the entrepreneurship movement. It is a great city to start and grow a business with a variety of incubators, funding sources, and events. Forbes has even named Tulsa the #1 city for young entrepreneurs and women entrepreneurs.
