Green Juice

Resolving to improve one’s health can (and, let’s face it, probably should) be a yearly tradition. As we all know, fueling our bodies with a healthy dose of vitamin- and nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables is an important component to overall wellbeing, and a quick and easy way to increase your daily intake is by combining your produce aisle purchases into a glass of nutritional goodness. Here’s our recipe for a green juice sure to jump-start your journey to good health:

Ingredients:

  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1 handful kale
  • 1/2 head of broccoli
  • 1 apple (peeled and cored)
  • 1/2 lemon (juiced)
  • 1” piece of ginger (peeled)
  • 1 carrot

Directions: Put all ingredients in a juicer and process until liquified. Check your juicer’s instructions for information on how long your finished product will keep in the refrigerator.
