When did you start working at TSG? August 2021

Where are you from?
I am from Long Island, New York, and grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. Just the right balance of culture and charm.

What do you do at TSG HQ?  work with editors to create a specialized business plan that highlights the budget, spread rates, and sales goals for each volume.

How did you arrive at TSG? When I lived in Greenville, South Carolina, the guide was my go-to for all things Greenville. The guide helped me learn about the best salons and restaurants and I saw the positive impact it had on local businesses. Now that I live in Fort Myers, Florida, I was looking for ways to network in my new city. I saw that The Scout Guide HQ was looking to grow their team and I immediately reached out because I have always believed in the purpose and mission of TSG and knew I needed to be a part of it!

What’s on your desk? I always have my coffee, pen and notepad, and my favorite picture from my wedding.

Words to live by? “Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.” —Coco Chanel

Favorite vacation destination? Southwest Florida! There is something magical about living where most people dream of vacationing. It’s the reason my husband and I chose to relocate here. Why vacation when you can live every day like a local?!

Personal theme song? “I’ll Be There For You” —The Rembrandts

Favorite movie? The Devil Wears Prada

What’s in your bag? Sunglasses, nail file, lip gloss, phone, and gum

Best part about working at TSG? The culture! Starting a new position remotely with an amazing culture and team has made my transition super smooth.

What’s your TSG obsession? I absolutely love reading the City Cheat Sheets. They are the best travel guides, and I always refer to them when I visit a new city. They are also super helpful if you want to learn more about your own city.

“That’s so TSG”: The entire aesthetic of each guide supports the national brand while highlighting the local charm of each city. The gold foil and cursive script is just so classy and timeless!
