When did you start working at TSG?
I started working at TSG on April 16, 2018.
Where are you from?
I’m from New Canaan, Connecticut (I may be a northern girl at heart, but I’m quickly adapting to the “southern” lifestyle).
What do you do at TSG HQ?
I support and advocate for Editors in several markets to ensure Editor retention and satisfaction. I serve as a liaison between them and various departments in HQ, notably our Editorial and Production departments, to ensure that they have the attention and resources they need to produce their city-specific guides on time and on brand.
How did you arrive at TSG?
I graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in Spanish and Government. However, after an internship my final year at a consultancy firm, I quickly realized that the business world was a better fit for me. Upon graduation, I moved to Charlottesville to work at Merkle, a digital marketing agency. After three and a half years in agency life as an SEO Account Manager, I arrived at The Scout Guide with a desire to enhance my management skills in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.
What’s on your desk?
A water bottle, coffee mug (so I can interchange between water and caffeine constantly throughout the day), a stack of previous editions of The Scout Guide from my markets, and an “I’m always running fashionably late” pink and gold planner.
The Notebook. If you’re a bird, I’m a bird.
What’s in your bag?
ChapStick, my cell phone (duh), a gold card holder, a spare hairbrush, Bluetooth ear buds, sunglasses (if I haven’t managed to lose them), and a planner.
What’s your TSG obsession?
Nashville. I love the guides, and I’ve always wanted to visit (maybe I can for the next launch party)!
