GIVE LOCAL: SCOUTED ROANOKE NONPROFITS

Two hands coming together holding a black heart-shaped object against a white background, representing a concept of connection and unity, in the spirit of The Scout Guide.

In a vibrant celebration of community spirit and generosity, The Scout Guide Roanoke proudly presents the four distinguished nonprofits chosen through our Volume 1 Scouting for a Cause campaign. This initiative, launched on Giving Tuesday 2023, invited our community members to nominate and vote for their favorite charities, culminating in the selection of three top organizations alongside TSG Roanoke’s chosen charity. These nonprofits embody the essence of philanthropy, working tirelessly to ensure that all people in our community can thrive.

The importance of philanthropy cannot be overstated, serving as the lifeblood of our society by bridging gaps and providing essential support where it is most needed. By fostering a culture of giving, we empower these organizations to carry out their vital missions, addressing critical needs and creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for all. The chosen nonprofits for this year’s campaign have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their causes, each representing a beacon of hope and resilience, tackling diverse challenges, and making a tangible difference in the lives of countless individuals. Their stories of compassion and perseverance inspire us all to contribute in any way we can.
