MEET | Common House Richmond
WRITTEN BY AYNSLEY FISHER
Common House is breaking new ground in Richmond reimagining a new kind of club with the opening of Common House No. 2, located at 303 West Broad Street in the Arts District. The result of the vision of founders Derek Sieg and Ben Pfinsgraff, Common House made its debut when they launched the original House in Charlottesville in 2017. Sieg and Pfinsgraff dreamed of a gathering space where a community of engaged individuals could gather in a comfortable, modern, thoughtfully designed space for social and business pursuits.
Membership has its perks with a lively slate of ongoing social and educational programming which includes live music, speaking engagements, wine tastings, master classes, film club hosted in the in-House screening room. Additionally, the social club houses two floors of CDC compliant co-working and private office space, a podcast studio, library, rooftop pool, wine cellar, two restaurants & bars, (Birdie’s is open to the public), and a marketplace featuring goods from local vendors. Common House also offers event space for weddings, rehearsal dinners, graduation dinners and local non-profits.
With Richmond native Chauncey Jenkins as General Manager, Common House Richmond offers a diverse slate of membership categories, which range from personal, couples, under 30/ students, out-of-town and corporate. Membership includes access to all Common House locations, amenities, programs and partner benefits.
In keeping with the mission to foster connections among the community, The Common Ground membership is designed to encourage leaders and creators in the community to lend their talents to the conversation and programming. Applications are open until November 15, 2020.
Common House Richmond delivers an experience, one that fosters relationship building, learning new things and inspiration complemented by the beautifully designed space, dynamic programming and fine dining. For more information visit www.commonhouse.com
