Join us at the Fayetteville Farmers Market on Saturday, September 7th for Tomato Fest!

Festivities include:

🌶️🍅 Salsa Contest: Do you have an award-winning salsa recipe? Bring your best homemade batch down to the farmers market at Tomato Fest! Prizes include $100 in Market Bucks, Market Merch, and a market tote bag full of seasonal market products.
Contest Details: Salsa must be fruit or tomato based, shelf stable, and made with vinegar and or lime juice for acidity. Corn and/or bean salsa is not allowed. Bring your salsa to the farmers market by 10am on Saturday with a list of your ingredients. Winners will be announced on Saturday.

🧑‍🍳🥗 Cooking Local Demo: Chef Albert Rey of Margaret’s Food Truck will be cooking up a delicious locally sourced recipe featuring tomatoes and other seasonal produce. SNAP Recipients will receive $25 in Double Your Dollars Bucks for attending the demo.

🍅🍴Tomato Sampling: Find your new favorite tomato variety with our tomato sampling! Taste a rainbow of diversity of color, patterns and shapes!
