Founder Carrie Brigham is a Naples native, providing local insights and a strong network of industry professionals she’s worked with for over 15 years. Her award-winning interiors are just the beginning of all that sets her firm apart—we caught up with the designer about everything from her favorite Naples hotspot to what’s next for Carrie Brigham Design. 

What sparked your love for interior design? My love for interior design was sparked by the perfect blend of creativity and practicality. For me, interior design is an innate talent—it’s about having a natural instinct to evaluate a space and maximize its potential to create a vibrant, living environment. Since seventh grade, I’ve known I wanted to pursue interior design, though I wasn’t sure if it would be in the residential or commercial sector. Following my dream, I earned a degree in interior design from Florida State University and discovered my passion for residential design. Growing up in one of the best places in the world for interior design, I couldn’t have asked for a more fitting backdrop to nurture my passion.

What brought you to Naples? I am a proud Naples native! I can’t imagine loving anywhere else as much as I love Naples.

What is your favorite part about owning a business in Naples? Owning a business in Naples allows me to balance hard work with leisure seamlessly. The incredible people, stunning surroundings, the water, and the beautiful architecture and interiors make it a dream location for my business.

Tell us about the design trends you see that are unique to our local market. Naples boasts a diverse range of architectural styles, allowing for a broad exploration of personal style. Whether it’s traditional, ultra-modern, Old Florida, coastal vibes, or globally inspired Moroccan or Spanish zen aesthetics, Naples offers it all.

What’s your favorite way to network with other creatives? The Scout Guide is my favorite way to connect with like-minded business owners. I appreciate the luxury mindset and the curated, thoughtful approach Jennifer [Adams, TSG Naples editor] takes to bringing businesses together. The masterclass concept, where we learn from different business owners, offers valuable insights beyond typical networking events.

One spot or hidden gem we can find you at outside of work? A hidden gem I love in Naples is Le Colonial. The design is dreamy, and the interior is fabulous, making it feel like a home away from home. The French-Vietnamese food and drinks are amazing!

What’s on the horizon for Carrie Brigham Design? We are excited to be expanding our offices soon. Recently, we welcomed Molly Grup, one of the most sought-after designers in town, to our team, and we are thrilled about the future possibilities this expansion will bring.
